My lifesaver…

I’ve been using iControlWP for about a year now… Not only is it affordable, but it saves me so much time and worry! I’m just going to touch on a few reasons why I can’t do without this plugin…

Price

You are billed monthly – no contract needed! – on a per-site basis. As of this post, it’s 30 cents per site. They have an optional additional fee for using their WorpDrive backup service, but I’m not  using that on any of my sites at the moment.

Use

iControlWP can be used to update your WordPress core (it will even install a fresh copy on new site setups) and plugins. I set all my WP plugins to update automatically. In addition you can manage users, compress and clean up your databases, integrate Google Analytics or use their site statistics, run security scans, and more. I currently manage 16 sites with iControlWP, so I can’t even imagine having to go into each site individually whenever WordPress sends out an update.

Compatibility

Some of my sites are hosted on an IIS server, some are on a Linux box. More features are available to me on the Linux-hosted sites, but it runs fine with IIS too.

Support

This is one of the few companies where I feel like I am talking to a person who cares. I have never experienced such fast, personal support from any other company as I do with iControl.

I could go on and on, but this is a decent overview of why I recommend iControlWP. I just have to say, this is one tool that I regularly use that just makes me smile!
